Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RFPpilot and its in-app agent, Sammie (together, the "Service"), operated by RFPpilot. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

RFPpilot helps government-contracting middlemen discover federal solicitations, match them to teaming partners, draft proposal materials, and track deals through to award. RFPpilot is in early access: features, availability, and this agreement may change as the product develops.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and authorized to act on behalf of the business you represent to use the Service. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity that occurs under your account, including through connected Google sign-in.

3. Connected Google account

If you connect a Google account, you authorize RFPpilot to access the Gmail, Drive, or Calendar data described in the Privacy Policy, strictly to provide the features you enable. You can disconnect Google access at any time from your Google Account permissions or from within RFPpilot.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service to submit false or misleading information in a federal procurement; misrepresent your authority to bind a business or teaming partner; attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service; or use it in a way that violates applicable procurement, export-control, or data-protection law.

5. Third-party sources

RFPpilot references publicly available data from sources such as SAM.gov and agency forecast lists. RFPpilot is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the U.S. General Services Administration or any federal agency. We don't guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party data, and you're responsible for verifying solicitation details directly with the issuing agency before relying on them.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the roster, proposal, and other content you submit to RFPpilot ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. You're responsible for having the rights needed to share Your Content, including any partner or subcontractor information.

7. Intellectual property

RFPpilot, Sammie, and the associated branding, software, and design are owned by RFPpilot. These Terms don't grant you rights in our intellectual property beyond what's needed to use the Service.

8. Disclaimers

RFPpilot helps you find and prepare for opportunities — it does not guarantee that any match, draft, or submission will result in a contract award. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RFPpilot will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service, with notice where reasonably practicable.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll post the revised version here with a new effective date; continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [insert your state], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. (Fill in before publishing — typically the state where the operating business is formed or based.)
